Oldest Library in the World

‘Sprechen Sie Deutsch?’

> ‘Hochdeutsch, ja.’

I was instructed to take a pair of slippers and wait for the tour guide.

Within the displayed books in this oldest library, were some real gems.

Perhaps what stood out to me the most, quite naturally, were the lines that read something as follows:

‘On nutrition: vegetables should only be consumed after being cooked, as they are best then for digestion. The nutrients in bacon are absorbed when consumed in the raw state. And cow’s milk or cheese should be consumed under no circumstances.’

So there you have it. One of the oldest books in the world reveal this truth. Cow’s milk is not meant for human consumption.

I’m convinced.
